Golshanskiy starch plant to convert it into OAO "Golshanskiy starch factory" was part of the production association "Grodnopischeprom" the rights of the structural unit in accordance with the general scheme of management of AIC in the Republic of Belarus.
Golshanskiy starch factory belonged to communal ownership, operates on the principles of full cost accounting and self-financing, had its own balance sheet, bank account number.
According to the order of the Grodno regional committee on management of state property and privatization of December 30, 1995 for the number 89 set up a joint stock company "Golshanskiy starch factory" as a result of privatization of property Golshanskaya starch plant.
JSC "Golshanskiy starch factory" located in the village Remeykishki, 25 kilometers from the railway station Bogdanov, 27 km from the district center g.Oshmyany, 220 km from the regional center of Grodno.
The main activities of JSC "Golshanskiy starch factory" carried out in accordance with the Charter:
- Processing and preserving of potatoes;
- Manufacture of starches and starch products;
- Manufacture of precast concrete and concrete structures and products;
- Installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment for special purposes;
- Manufacture of repair, construction and repair and construction work;
- Implementation of trade and procurement of goods and consumer goods;
- Carrying out foreign economic activity;
- Financial transactions, securities transactions.
Dry starch used for making jelly, puddings, sauces. In the confectionery industry it is used for the manufacture of biscuits, chocolates and other products. Starch is found in some varieties of sausages.
Technical application of starch is very flexible. Starch is widely used in textile, paper, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Since the release of starch production is seasonal, so the company developed technology for the production of corn starch jelly.
After the reconstruction of its design capacity of the plant increased and amounted to:
- In 1949 - 25 tonnes per day;
- In 1972 - 100 tons;
- In 1987 - 200 tons;
- In 2004, in connection with the replacement of the line PG on a new line of potato processing KSU 001-500 design capacity of 500 tons.
The development strategy of the organization while maintaining both positive and negative macroeconomic trends in the Republic of Belarus is based on maintaining progress in production, capacity utilization, technical and economic level of production and technical equipment of work and continuous capacity building societies on the basis of increased product quality, improving further effective use of all resources.
