According to the decision #146 of the Grodnooblimuschestvo Committee of December 22, 1997, Rogoznitsa Starch Plant Open Joint-Stock Company was founded by reorganization of Rogoznitsa Starch Plant State Enterprise in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus of state property privatization.
The company is located on the periphery of Bolshaya Rogoznitsa village, on the bank of the river Yuhnovka, which is used for technical water intake. The industrial area covers 20.63 hectares.
The enterprise was reconstructed for the last time in 1991. Mainly in that period there was implemented an advanced technology of starch production with use of the PGU-500 hydrocyclone unit. The capacity of the unit lets process up to 500 tons of potatoes per day.
Up till now, the main line of activity of Rogoznitsa Starch Plant OJSC is starch production.
